A recent patch for Apex Legends fixed a number of bugs, but an exploit involving “ghost rocks” on one particular Arenas map hasn’t been dealt with yet. If you were thinking of trying it out “just for the lolz”, maybe don’t, unless you like being banned.
The Respawn Twitter account recently posted a warning about using the “ghost rock”exploit on the Phase Runner Arenas map before they get a chance to fix it. Don’t even think about it.
Small update: The Phase Runner “ghost rock” fix had to be delayed further for quality-control reasons.
Be aware that abusing this exploit while it’s still around is bannable! 🔨

The exploit involves a collision-detection bug that lets players glitch inside a rock that other players can’t see or shoot through. The player in the rock can’t shoot out, but it does end up working like a personal shield, which is especially obnoxious on a tiny Arenas map. Abusing exploits has always been bannable in Apex Legends, though, so this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
The bugs they did manage to fix were added to the official patch notes, including an issue with Valkyrie’s passive and a number of stability concerns. Unfortunately, they also nerfed the Spitfire (decreasing its damage and mag size) and the new Bocek bow (decreasing body damage and ammo stacks while increasing charge time).
No official word on that whole accidentally-making-Wattson’s-fences-useless situation, yet.
