Rejoice, chosen ones. The first wave of the Great Restoration is upon us. Login to Outriders to see if you are worthy.
An update on the Outriders subreddit announced that the backend restoration of gear and Accolades, lost to an inventory wiping bug, is currently underway, if you fit into a particular group. This first wave of restoration only affects those players with characters that were blocked from logging in (“Couldn’t Connect to Server”), and haven’t been able to play, since their inventory got wiped – Group A. If your character lost everything and could keep playing, this isn’t for you, but your time is coming. Unsure what group you belong to? Check out this explanation.
Just don’t expect everything to be exactly as it was pre-wipe. For starters, you’ll get everything back that you had equipped at the time of the wipe. For your inventory, you’ll get all your Legendary items back and then 20 previously acquired non-Legendary items, with priority given to rarity and then date acquired (meaning your Epic loot shouldn’t get replaced by a bunch of Common trash). If this overloads your inventory, the items will be kept on the server until you make space, just log out and back in to trigger their return.
Any lost Accolades will also return, but only if you reached the final tier of said Accolade.
But that’s not all, non-affected characters in Group A may also “receive up to 20 Legendary items that they previously sold back in their inventory”. These will be “God Roll” items.
