Apex Legends Season 9 got off to a bumpy start with many players unable to find matches, their inventory, or any characters other than the original eight. It should all be working now, though.
Seems EA still hasn’t quite grasped the popularity of Apex Legends, as yesterday’s launch of Season 9 swamped the game servers, causing all manner of havoc and frustration for players hyped to get into the brand new content, something we should all be quite used to by now. Who even expects to play a game at launch these days?
Many players were reporting trouble finding matches and that all their equipped cosmetics, unlocked Legends, and accumulated Apex Coins had disappeared, leading to mass panic. Respawn worked for hours to get everything back to normal, although you may have to re-equip some things.
Well legends, today did not go as planned to say the least. But we’re pleased to announce that Apex Legends: Legacy is now officially live. Appreciate you guys stickin’ by us today. You’re the true legends here. 💜 pic.twitter.com/JXtJzYS8Cv

I checked this morning, seems legit. The Season 9 update is over 50GB on Xbox, and only appeared after 19:00, so I didn’t stand a hope of playing last night anyway.
