Trevor Belmont is all of us.
Castlevania Season 4 is the final season of this particular storyline for Netflix, but they are considering branching out to other characters in the same universe. So, expect a lot of blood, death, and swears – all the stuff you love about Castlevania. Also that gorgeous animation.
In case you’ve forgotten, Eastern Europe is about to become vampire-invasion central at the fangs of Carmilla and her sisters while forgemaster Isaac has been off amassing an army of his own monsters. Vampire hunter Trevor Belmont and the magician Sypha have been investigating supernatural happenings and Dracula’s dhampir son Alucard was almost murdered during a surprise ménage à trois (and is pretty miffed about it).
Now, Carmilla and Isaac are ready to murder all the things in the name of conquest, Trevor and Sypha are investigating some misguided attempts to bring Dracula back from the dead (last we saw, he was happily ensconced in hell, in the arms of his love, with no intention of leaving), and Alucard is cleaving creatures left, right, and centre with the power of his majestic pecs (and ludicrously large sword).
Get. Hype.
The finale season of Netflix’s Castlevania is already my favourite. Find it on Netflix on 13 May.
