Grounded is inching ever closer to its 1.0 release as the April 0.9.0 update heads to public testing for Steam players. Get involved if you want a sneak peek at new features and content.
Currently open to public testing for Steam players, with access for Windows and Xbox users to be added soon, Grounded’s 0.9.0 public testing update includes new building features, multiplayer photo mode support, and a new Creative with Bugs mode.
So, players can look forward to the introduction of ladders and curved building components, and posing for photos with their friends. The new Creative with Bugs mode is, as the name would suggest, a version of the existing Creative mode, now with added bug friends. So you can go about building the grass mansion of your dreams while the regular garden inhabitants romp around you in domesticated bliss.
There are also a bunch of optimisations and bug fixes.

Obsidian isn’t giving everything away, though, the notes also mention some undisclosed Ominent Practical Technologies updates. New tech of some sort? Maybe a new area? I guess we’ll find out when the patch goes live for everyone.
