It’s not really fair to compare Call of Duty: Warzone’s nuke event to all of Fortnite’s epic in-game shenanigans, but you would not be alone if you were feeling a little underwhelmed after so much hype. Well buck up, CoD fans, because there’s another event happening tomorrow with the launch of Season Three.
Season Three of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone is on its way after the much-hyped nuke event took place yesterday in the form of a cinematic cut-scene, a portion of which can be seen below:

If you missed it, you’re not alone. A number of players reported frustration at game crashes and long wait queues keeping them from experiencing the limited-time event, which was subsequently extended by an hour.
But forget about Verdansk, Season Three is all about Rebirth Island, with another super-secret event planned for 21:00 SAST on 23 April. What else can you expect? Well, clearly a new map, but also NVIDIA DLSS support for PC players, new weapons, a whole mess of adjustments and bug fixes, new Prestige levels, and a new Battle Pass. Check out the official Season Three patch notes for all the details.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War & Warzone Season Three goes live at 06:00 AM SAST tomorrow, 23 April. Feel free to preload the update, it’s about 25GB or less, depending on the platform.
