Delayed due to all manner of filthy hax, patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 is finally out and it’s a big one.
The latest patch is part of CD Projekt Red’s quest to fix the multitude of problems that Cyberpunk 2077 launched with in December last year. The list is long, but it includes fixes and improvements for a number of gameplay, quality of life, stability, and graphics issues that have been affecting players across platforms.
Earlier this month, CD Projekt Red showcased some of the fixes we could expect in patch 1.2 through a series of video clips framed as N54 News announcements. These highlighted adjustments to NCPD response time (they’ll no longer spawn behind you and will take time to reach the scene of the crime), improved vehicle controls, the ability to rock your vehicle in order to release it if it gets stuck on something, and improvements to the dodge mechanic, meaning you’ll be slightly less likely to accidentally fling yourself off tall buildings.
Perhaps most importantly, you can now purchase cat food at several food shops around Night City, making the process of adopting Nibbles a little bit easier.
If you’re looking for something specific, feel free to trawl the official Cyberpunk 2077 patch notes for whatever fix you’re hoping for and, remember, they’re not done yet. There are more updates on the way.
Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.2 is about 34GB on PC, 40GB on Xbox, and 44GB on PlayStation.
