Asus launches VivoTalent competition with R100,000 cash and prizes up for the win

Can you make a 90-second to three-minute video about whatever you want? You got this.

Asus has opened entry to its VivoTalent competition this week, inviting South African creatives to upload their “unique” content on Facebook or Instagram, tagging @ASUS_ZA and #VivoTalent.

“We don’t care if you are keen to do an Ariana cover, drop your own original track, do a standup routine or if you want to show us an interpretive dance take on War and Peace,” explains Asus marketing guy Juan Mouton. “As long as you are original, so we don’t want to see TikTok videos or Reels being used, we want you to start from scratch, tell us a story and show us your talent.”

The judging panel includes local actor and comedian Siv Ngesi, radio host Rob Forbes, and actress Shamilla Miller, who will also be helping out contenders as mentors.

The competition ends in “early May”, according to the press stuff, so get busy.
