First introduced to Xbox Game Pass on consoles back in November 2020, EA Play is available with Xbox Game Pass on PC at no extra cost to subscribers, starting this week.
EA Play’s library features a selection of the publisher’s “biggest and best PC games”, according to the announcement on Xbox Wire, including Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars: Squadrons, Titanfall 2, and The Sims 4 (don’t diss The Sims). You’ll also get access to demos of “up to 10 hours” of EA’s marquee franchise games like FIFA 21 that, duh, you didn’t actually expect to get free.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers will have access to EA Play from 23:00 local time tonight, but you’ve got to link your EA and Xbox accounts via the EA Desktop app to actually download those games.
I know, what a chore, but that’s the deal.
And now I guess I have to update my Xbox Game Pass must-plays with The Sims 4 (I TOLD YOU NOT TO DISS THE SIMS). I skipped it because it’s just not the same on console, but on PC? My scientific work can continue.
