But don’t worry, it’s conveniently broken down into six chapters, so you can schedule your bathroom breaks. Also, it’s being streamed so, y’know, pause it whenever you want.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be broken up into the following six chapters:
- Don’t Count On It, Batman
- The Age of Heroes
- Beloved Mother, Beloved Son
- “Change Machine”
- All the King’s Horses
- Something Darker
So how many changes can we expect? Most of the additions revolve around delving deeper into each main character’s story, so we’ll be getting more of Batman’s Knightmare, more Superman, more Flash, more Cyborg, and more Aquaman (not sure what’s going on with Wonder Woman). The final battle has also been reworked, as has Steppenwolf’s design. Entirely new is the inclusion of legendary DC villain Darkseid as the “big bad” behind it all. And, it’s all wrapped up in a brand new 1.66.1 aspect ratio.
Still, that’s a long time to sit through a movie that’s mostly the same as the one we’ve already seen. At this point, I will be watching it out of morbid curiosity.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League launches on HBO Max on 19 March. HBO Max is currently only available in the USA, but a lot of their shows have been appearing on Showmax, so you never know.
