You’ve seen the teaser, now glory in the official trailer for Netflix’s upcoming DOTA: Dragon’s Blood series.
From the animators at Studio Mir (The Legend of Korra, Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts), in partnership with Valve, DOTA: Dragon’s Blood promises to be the beginning of a “battle of the ages” involving Dragon Knight Davion and Mirana the elven Princess of the Moon.
The plot appears to involve prophecies and goddesses, mystery missions, and (obviously) a whole mess of dragons. Also some good old-fashioned treachery and questioning of one’s religious beliefs/entire life path. From Netflix:
A conflicted yet courageous Dragon Knight must use the power of the dragon within to stop a deadly demon in this epic fantasy based on the online game.
Men filled with dragon power and internal conflict – loving that journey for Netflix right now. I haven’t touched DOTA in over a decade, but I will watch this, because it involves dragons and giant cats.
DOTA: Dragon’s Blood launches on Netflix on 25 March.
