Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Modern Warfare, and Warzone combo is now too big for its combat boots on older PS4 models

With the recent Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone season two update, Activision has warned that players on the 500GB PS4 “may need to make room” by deleting some in-game content.

According to the update intel on the Call of Duty website, this data limit applies to users who have Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, plus Warzone, with every mode and DLC installed.

Those who own a standard PlayStation 4 with a default hard drive of 500 GB may need to make room if they have the full versions of Modern Warfare/Warzone and Black Ops Cold War with all modes and packs installed.

This means that those users must decide which content to remove – if you’ve finished the Black Ops Cold War campaign or you’re bored of the game’s Zombies mode, for example, you can scrub them via the console’s file manager.

This isn’t a new problem for Call of Duty players – Modern Warfare’s updates bumped the game’s size up to over 200GB, prompting the same recommendation.
