I say tomorrow, but more likely Friday, unless you want to stay up until midnight for 30 minutes of PlayStation news. You do you.
Hey, PlayStation fans, Sony is hosting another State of Play broadcast tomorrow, 25 February, and this time it’s all about the games, including 10 deep dives into upcoming PS4 and PS5 games and new game announcements. To manage expectations, the whole episode is only about a half an hour long, so they won’t be spending too much time on these “deep” dives. There will be no hardware discussions or business talk, just games.
What games, though? Sony didn’t say, but I wouldn’t be surprised to hear more about the PlayStation exclusives launching this year, like Horizon Forbidden West, Deathloop (a timed exclusive but still), God of War: Ragnarok, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Destruction AllStars. We should also see updates on a couple of indie titles, like Kena: Bridge of Spirits and Oddworld: Soulstorm (potentially). Personally, I’m hoping to get an update on Stray, the neon-drenched, sci-fi, cat adventure.
You can watch the State of Play for February 2021 on Twitch or YouTube from 25 February at 00:00 SAST (because timezones).
Maintain healthy sleep patterns, kids.
