Outriders Demo

Free Outriders demo launches next week for all platforms

Announced via Reddit and Twitter, Outriders will be getting a pretty generous demo that will be available to play before and after the game launches in April.

The Outriders demo (not beta) will include the game’s prologue and opening chapter, allowing your character to reach Level 7 (unlocking the fourth ability of your chosen class and two skill points for the skill tree) and progress up to World Tier 5. World Tiers is the dynamic difficulty system used by Outriders, allowing the game to adapt to your success and failures. A higher World Tier also increases your chances of finding high-end loot. You can try out all four classes, using six character slots, and crossplay can be enabled manually in the settings. Best of all, all of your progress in the demo will transfer to the actual game, if you play on the same platform.

Outriders is a co-op, shooter, sci-fi RPG in which you play as one of four unique classes with special abilities, and a variety of moddable weapons, that can be customised to your play style, in order to explore the “horrors of a hyper-evolved planet”.

The Outriders demo should be ready to go from 19:00 SAST on 25 February for PC (Steam and NVIDIA GeForce NOW), Xbox , and PlayStation. The PC version will be a minimum 24GB download, while consoles will be minimum 22GB. The full game is set to launch on 1 April.
