Urban Street Fighting is proof that indie game development is not for everybody

I mean, I kind of get it. This guy had a dream. “I have a dream,” he told mom and dad in my made-up but probably not entirely wrong version of the preceding events. “I’m going to be an indie game developer.”

But is this indie game development thing working out? You decide.

Urban Street Fighting on Nintendo Switch or Urban Street Fighter on PC (I guess marketing isn’t for everybody either) is a “hardcore beat’em (sic) up” game featuring “AAA Physic (sic) Engine”, “AAA Graphic (sic) Engine”, “optional musics (sic)” (also, what?), and a cast of Unity asset-flips instantly iconic characters like, um, “Soccer Boy”, “Boxer”, and “Mike”. For important narrative reasons, I’m assuming, Soccer Boy’s textures are super lo-rez.

Get ready, because whatever you’re expecting, it’s even worse.

Don’t miss this!

MORE.

And maybe you’re thinking Urban Street Fightinger is developer Pix Arts’ first game so let’s not be obnoxious about it. But it isn’t.
