Capcom has confirmed the exact measurements of the game’s mesmerising and almost impossibly proportioned villainness, and it’s now official – she’s an absolute unit.
Euphemistically acknowledging the “fair amount of attention” Lady Alcina Dimitrescu has generated on the internet this month like it’s not actually, totally a fetish thing, Resident Evil Village art director Tomonori Takano reveals on Twitter that, including her hat and high heels, she stands – or looms, I guess – at a prodigious height of 2.9 metres. That’s taller than the tallest ever recorded human.
Your love for Lady Dimitrescu is loud and clear. 👒

Which helps to contextualise things. I mean, Resident Evil’s bad guys are mostly bad guys because, you know, they’re just the bad guys, but can you imagine having to custom order every pair of jeans? Always being the one who has to get the glasses from the top shelf? People constantly asking “how’s the weather up there” like they’re so clever and original? I’d probably choose evil too.
Resident Evil Village launches on 7 May on PC and consoles.
