Showmax has revealed its February and March schedule, with some top binge-TV for subscribers including Ridley Scott’s HBO sci-fi drama Raised by Wolves, post-pandemic apocalypse-’em-up The Stand, and a new season of the comedy-crime anthology show Fargo that I didn’t even know existed and now it’s made my entire week.
RAISED BY WOLVES
Filmed in Cape Town and it’s kind of obvious, Raised by Wolves is a super compelling and unconventional sci-fi drama about a human colony on some dusty alien planet supervised by two androids.
THE STAND
Based on Stephen King’s novel of the same name, The Stand introduces a world that’s almost completely wiped out by a manufactured flu virus, the people who survived, and a very, very, very bad guy who wants to wipe them out too.
It’s out from 9 February.
FARGO
Now in its fourth season, Fargo rewinds back to 1950s Kansas City and stars Chris Rock as a “family” business man who makes a deal with the Italian mob that you just know is going to go wrong.
It’s out on 16 March.
