Valorant’s v1.11 patch had only made it to players in the North America, Brazil, and Latin America regions before Riot snatched it back for “technical nightmare” reasons.
The latest patch was meant to go live yesterday, but the rollback means its delayed to later this week when Riot can find a time that won’t disrupt the First Strike tournament qualifiers. Which they scheduled to begin on the same day as an update.
We’ll redeploy later in the week once we can figure out a less disruptive time for the VALORANT First Strike Qualifiers (and have a solution, obviously). If you started the Skye character contract, you won’t be able to progress until we patch again. [2/2]

Features of the now-delayed patch include new Agent Skye (the spirit animal-wielding Australian that can also heal things), the new Icebox map, and some abilities-specific tuning for all Initiators and Sentinels. You can check out the official patch notes for all the details (although these may change).
If you were in a region that received the patch, and already purchased Skye or anything else, your purchase history should remain intact. You just won’t be able to progress Skye’s contract until they release the new and improved patch.
