If the word “moist” makes you uncomfortable, maybe Scorn isn’t your cup of plasma. However, if you’ve ever wanted to wander around in cartilaginous cavities dripping with viscera, boy, do I have a game for you!
Developed and published by Ebb Software, Scorn is an upcoming horror adventure “set in a nightmarish universe of odd forms and sombre tapestry”. Lost and alone, you must explore a variety of locations, each with their own theme, puzzles, and characters, in order to find a way out. Also, there are shambling bits of obstructed bowel with legs (and teeth) that do not take kindly to being disturbed by your presence.
Features include a living shotgun with the longest reload time in the world, more genitalia-based decor than you can shake a damp appendage at, and an uncomfortable amount of penetration. I hope you like spines and sound effects largely inspired by the word “orifice”.
This gameplay puts Scorn at the top of my Nope list, but I’m sure a lot of people will be into its Gigeresque aesthetic and viscous charm.
Scorn is coming to PC and Xbox Series X/S (because 4K Ultra HD viscera is best viscera) some time in 2021.
