Rainbow Six Siege Sam Fisher

Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher is joining Rainbow Six Siege, so everyone better get off his lawn

Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher will be joining Rainbow Six Siege as Operator Zero in the upcoming Operation Shadow Legacy update. He’s gonna teach these youngins a thing or two about stealth.

Seems old man Sam “Zero” Fisher will be laying down an education in Operation Shadow Legacy. We don’t know much about how his skills will be used in Rainbow Six Siege, yet, but the announcement (taking the form of a letter from Lera “Finka” Melnikova) gives a little insight into the uses for Fisher’s iconic “toys”.

There is a flexibility of movement and behaviour that can be used on the offensive as well as preparation for the defensive that is well suited to his inclination to take advantage of any situation.

Yes.

For those who are a little lost, Sam Fisher originally comes from the Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell series of stealth shooter games that began in 2002. Fisher is a covert ops reconnaissance specialist who makes use of his iconic trifocal goggles to see through pretty much anything, including your soul. The last Splinter Cell instalment (Blacklist) was released in 2013, but Fisher has pitched up in two Ghost Recon games since then.

A full reveal of Operator Zero is taking place on 16 August, around 20:00 SAST.
