Hello, you fool, Fortnite is getting a Joy Ride update tomorrow, which is adding cars, and that means you have to put up with this dated pop song reference.
Epic has been promising cars in Fortnite since Season 3 launched in June (which is forever ago – I checked), and now, since the flood water has started to recede, they’re almost here.
It’s not just a name. It’s a warning.

We don’t know much of anything else about the update, other than the car thing, but maybe there will be some new challenges related to the recently-revealed Coral Castle, or ones that involve hitting things with said cars. I imagine some explanatory patch notes will accompany the update’s arrival tomorrow, 5 August 2020.
