The game’s been in development since 2017, but besides this dramatic but otherwise super abstract trailer from 2018 and some tweets at the end of 2019, Dragon Age 4 is a consistent no-show. But don’t worry – 2020 killed Chocolate Logs, maybe, but not your future prospects of inter-species dating.
Conceding that “there hasn’t been a lot” of news about the game recently (or, like, ever?), Dragon Age 4 producer Mark Darrah promises that work on the project is very much ongoing.
I realize that most of you are here for Dragon Age news and there hasn’t been a lot of that lately…
Let me just run down some things I an say:
1. We are working on the next Dragon Age
2. Yes we are working from home
3. Working from home is harder
4. We are making progress— Mark Darrah (@BioMarkDarrah) July 22, 2020
I know it’s probably not the news you wanted about the sequel’s narrative or characters or whether or not it’s got sexy lizards, but it is news.
