Samsung’s Fortnite Galaxy Cup is taking place this weekend for Android users only.

Taking place from 25 – 26 July, the Fortnite Galaxy Cup will have Android players around the world battling it out for the chance to win a fancy new Galaxy Scout Outfit. The top-performing players from each day will win the Galaxy Scout Outfit, while players that participate in a minimum of five games will earn the Star Scout Wrap. Yes, you can earn one of each.

Top-performance is different per region, so here’s where you need to place in order to win:

  • Europe: Top 10,000
  • NA-East: Top 7,500
  • NA-West: Top 2,500
  • Latin America: Top 2,500
  • Asia: Top 1,250
  • Middle East: Top 1,250
  • Oceania: Top 1,250

Can your Android device even play Fortnite? According to the FAQs, minimum requirements for playing Fortnite on Android are “64-bit Android on an ARM64 processor, Android OS 8.0 or higher, minimum 4GB of RAM, and GPU: Adreno 530 or higher, Mali-G71 MP20, Mali-G72 MP12 or higher”. This includes devices like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, Samsung Galaxy S10, Sony Xperia 1, Xiaomi Mi9, and Huawei P30.

If you’re not into cramping thumbs and tricky touch screens, the Android version of Fortnite supports most Bluetooth controllers, but not mouse and keyboard.

The Fortnite Galaxy Cup is open to anyone with a Fortnite-supported Android device, but you must have two-factor authentication enabled on your Epic account to take part. Just open up Fortnite and head on over to the Compete tab in order to sign up.
