The Boys, the Amazon Prime series based on the very adult comic book series about a world in which super “heroes” are generally terrible people, is coming back. So, I hope you’re ready to feel even more uncomfortable than you were last season, because sjoe.
SPOILERS for those that have yet to partake of this OMG DID THEY ACTUALLY JUST DO THAT series. Following on from the explosive, infanticidal finale, a manhunt has been launched for The Boys (Butcher’s ragtag team of criminals) after they failed to expose Vought’s evil corporate machinations to the world. Meanwhile, Vought’s cashing in on the Supervillain panic of their own creation.
Also, new hero Stormfront has joined The Seven and seeks to challenge Homelander’s unhinged leadership. Which is good, because that (seemingly unkillable) man needs to die, like, yesterday.
The Boys Season 2 is due out on Amazon Prime on 4 September 2020.
