Turtle Rock Studios has broken their silence on, totally-still-upcoming, Back 4 Blood with a still image possibly depicting something that is maybe in the game, we think. Also hope.
Getting to this 4th of July has been tough on all of us, so we wanted to give you a sneak peek and a bit of Hope. pic.twitter.com/buGOBayz5N

First announced in March 2019 and then barely heard from again, Back 4 Blood is Turtle Rock Studios not-a-sequel-but-actually-definitely-a-sequel to the Left 4 Dead franchise that they had to abandon when they broke up with Valve. It will feature a co-op-friendly campaign and PvP, but not battle royale, and will be released on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 (although maybe next-gen, too, since they’re leaving it so late?).
The image appears to be concept art of an area you could potentially encounter in Back 4 Blood. You know the place; the obligatory safe haven from the zombie apocalypse that actually turns out to be the not-very-safe-at-all haven that our heroes must flee from in the following chapter.
