The latest content update for Sea of Thieves adds the Haunted Shores event that will see you battling a fleet of Ghost Ships, summoned through a rift between the world of the living and that of the dead to wreak phantom havoc. The spectral ships may be fragile, but they come with supernatural agility in the water and extra spooky weaponry that’s sure to shiver yer timbers.
New enemies means new Commendations; work your way through the ranks to earn the Ghost Ship Sails and the Burning Blade Sails and show everyone exactly how much ghost booty you’ve plundered. If that sounds like too much work, you can always just outfit your pet in some ghostly new gear from the Pirate Emporium.
