In Summer in Mara, you play as Koa, an 11-year-old girl who has a farm to maintain while also exploring her tropical island home and its surrounding waters. As you play, you’ll learn new skills, discover new islands, and meet new people along an overarching narrative. As a bonus, you get to pretend the real world doesn’t exist for a while.
If you’re intrigued, there’s currently a demo available on Steam. Summer in Mara will also be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4, at a later, as yet unspecified, date.
