Japan declared a State of Emergency on 16 April that will remain in effect until 7 May 2020 at least.
This means that, if you were up-to-date, you’re going to have to wait a while before you can continue watching Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates on their quest to find the One Piece; gathering friends, strength, and trauma along the way.
One Piece has been on TV since 1999, when it premiered in Japan, and is currently sitting at 929 episodes in its 20th season. If you start now, it’ll probably be back on air by the time you make it to the end. Last year, creator Eiichiro Oda announced that the manga, on which the show is based, would end in five years time.
