It’s the vampire-adjacent, child abduction, Christmas romp you never knew you needed and it’ll be back to menace the quiet country back roads of your psyche in June.
The NOS4A2 Twitter account recently released a teaser trailer for the upcoming second season.

For those that haven’t found this AMC gem yet, NOS4A2 (Nosferatu geddit?) is based on a novel by Stephen King’s son, Joe Hill, and is, pretty much, classic Stephen King; a young woman, with burgeoning psychic powers, in Maine, is being menaced by supernatural forces, children are being abducted, and there’s even a semi-sentient, evil, car. It gets bonus points for casting Zachary Quinto as the vampiric villain, Charlie Manx, who is obsessed with saving “abused” children by abducting them and taking them to Christmasland; a world made real by his powerful imagination.
SPOILERS AHEAD if you haven’t watched it yet.
It looks like the second season sees Manx up and about again, looking healthier than ever after ending the first one as a dessicated husk handcuffed to a hospital bed. I have to imagine he’s on a vengequest to find Vic McQueen before she figures out how to release all his cannibal monster children from Christmasland (which doesn’t seem like a great idea tbh). If Vic has already given birth, it’s fairly safe to assume that he’ll be hunting her child, specifically, since he already deemed her unfit to be anyone’s mother.
NOS4A2 Season 2 starts on 1 June 2020.
