Baldur's Gate 3 Mind Flayer

The Baldur’s Gate 3 opening cinematic features more eye “tadpoles” than I’m comfortable with

Larian Studios also previewed some Baldur’s Gate 3 gameplay at PAX East 2020, no big deal.

I hope you enjoyed Divinity: Original Sin 2, because Baldur’s Gate 3 is looking pretty similar to Larian Studios’ other RPG series and that’s not a terrible thing. So far, we know that Baldur’s Gate 3 will feature turn-based combat, in-depth character creation (as well as the ability to play as one of the preset characters), all the dialogue options, a range of companions, and a fully-featured multiplayer mode.

Check out the PAX East 2020 gameplay presentation below:

Baldur’s Gate 3 will be entering Steam’s Early Access in 2020, possibly some time around June/July.

However, the game will only be coming to PC and Google Stadia as Larian Studios doesn’t believe current-gen consoles would be able to handle it. We can always hold thumbs for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 release in the future, though.
