Citing “serious and repeated violations” of the publisher’s code of conduct, EA has #cancelled FIFA pro and streamer Kurt “Kurt0411” Fenech, permanently prohibiting his access to its games and services. Lol? Lol.
Fenech was first banned from FIFA 20 competitions and events in November, according to Polygon, because he’d “threatened employees and other players”. A number of EA and FIFA community manager Twitter accounts were subsequently compromised, allegedly (but also probably) by the same guy. Keeping the cringe levels dialled to hyper-max, he also recently collaborated with other YouTuber KingAmenyah on an “EA Diss Track” because that’s a thing people totally do in 1998 2020. And this week, EA decided to ban his account completely, forever.

Predictably, Fenech is now claiming it’s some kind of conspiracy, because that definitely proves he’s a reasonable person who can think about the consequences of his behaviour.
End of the day I have never said anything I shouldn’t have. This is just deeper than anyone thinks. They didn’t want me competing at events cos they were scared I’d win them, now I’m the 2nd biggest streamer of their game and they’re scared I’ll overtake their golden boy

Okay.
