Netflix is so happy with the success of The Witcher that there’s now an animated movie on the way from the studio behind The Legend of Korra.
The new film is titled The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf and is being developed by Lauren S. Hissrich and Beau DeMayo, the same team that brought you the live action Netflix series, with animation by Studio Mir (The Legend of Korra, Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts).
The rumors are true, a new Witcher story is in the works! The anime film, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, will take us back to a new threat facing the Continent. Brought to you by the Witcher team @LHissrich and @BeauDeMayo, and Studio Mir the studio behind Legend of Korra.

It’s unclear if the live action series cast will lend their voices to the animated film, but I assume so. I also assume that this will be a standalone adventure, not linked to the current plot of the series. We don’t know what it will be about, yet, other than wolves and nightmares, so I’m hoping for werewolves.
I’m not sure how the film is going to top this animated work of genius, though:
