Taiwan’s games rating board certainly seems to think so.
BioShock: The Collection, and the individual games that make up said collection (BioShock Remastered, BioShock 2 Remastered, and BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition), have all received ratings by Taiwan’s Digital Game Rating Committee, for the Nintendo Switch, with an unlisted release date. Ratings are generally given to things that will exist at some point in the near future, despite the lack of any official announcement.
BioShock: The Collection was released for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 in 2016, bringing everything up to 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second. It included all three games in the series, plus DLC for BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite.
So, it seems like you’ll soon be getting a chance to delve into Rapture’s murky mysteries from anywhere the world may take you. Like the toilet, or Home Affairs, or the toilet at Home Affairs. What a time to be alive!
At least you’ll have something to occupy yourself with while you wait for the next installment in the BioShock series, currently in development at 2K’s Cloud Chamber.
