The fifth in the series of real-time life sims that see you living in harmony with a collection of adorable anthropomorphised animals, Animal Crossing: New Horizons will see you booking a vacation package to a deserted island in order to build up your own, bespoke community with an invite-only guest list (y’know, to keep the wrong sort out).
You’ll also be able to share your commune/raccoon mafia safe haven with your friends as the game allows for up to four local, or eight online, players to inhabit your island at a time.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is set for release on 20 March 2020 for the Nintendo Switch. Its 2019 launch was delayed to allow for a final polish.
