Destiny 2 Season of Dawn will see you traveling through time to stop a council of Cabal Psion Flayers from altering history for their own, evil gain. Don’t worry, you get to alter it, too, by bringing back a long-dead, legendary Titan called Saint-14. If you got the Season Pass, that is.
Season Pass holders gain access to The Sundial, a new, six-player mission that involves resurrecting Saint-14, the greatest Titan that ever lived. You’ll also insta-unlock the Symmetry Exotic Scout Rifle and there will be some new armour sets, new quests, new cosmetics, and a bunch of other, unmentioned, things.
The rest of you still get to help Osiris fix time, by restoring Obelisks at crucial locations, it’ll just be a little less badass. Those without the Season Pass also get to earn the Exotic Scout Rifle (by progressing through Season ranks), get the Lantern of Osiris Artifact, and unlock a new armour set, along with the usual Seasonal rank rewards.
So, yes, you’re all wearing counterfeit Saint-14 helmets.
Season of Dawn is part of the Destiny 2: Shadowkeep expansion and will run from 10 December 2019 to 9 March 2020.
