Don’t worry, Vampire: The Masquerade fans, it’s only being delayed for a week while it gets cleaned up.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York is an officially-licensed, Telltale-like narrative game based in the universe of the Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition tabletop RPG. It was meant to launch this week, but the release date has been delayed until 11 December 2019. This is to give developers time to clean up some of the visuals and deal with a few bugs.
Coteries of New York takes place as conflict is brewing between the Camarilla and Anarch clans. You play as a newly-fledged vampire, from one of three Camarilla clans, and your decisions will have all manner of impact on how the story plays out. Due to the game’s changeable nature and the variety of potential endings, Coteries of New York should be fairly replayable and you can expect additional, post-launch content to keep you occupied.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York will launch first for PC, with Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch releases to follow in 2020.
