So, we’re not taking on Hyperion, or another resurrection of Handsome Jack, but rather profiting from yet another of Moxxi’s bad life choices. Not that I’m complaining, because MOAR LOOT.
Moxxi’s Heist of The Handsome Jackpot will have you infiltrating Jack’s derelict space station casino for fun and profit. Apparently, Moxxi shared her plans for the casino with Jack while they were still dating and, surprise, he stole her idea after they broke up. So, it’s up to you to exact vengeance on her dead ex by looting his mega-casino. If you know what I mean.
You can gain access to Moxxi’s heist once you get to Sanctuary III (after completing Episode 5) and you should be, at least, level 13 before giving it a go. Loot and difficulty will scale with your level, so level 50s should still experience a fun challenge. Apparently, there’s a enough new content to keep you occupied for a couple of hours.
Moxxi’s Heist of The Handsome Jackpot is the first of four planned DLC campaigns for Borderlands 3 and is set to launch on 19 December 2019. It comes with the Season Pass and the Super Deluxe Edition of the game or you can buy it separately.
