Following the release of the upcoming Terminator: Dark Fate film, we’ll be getting an official tie-in game in the form of Terminator Resistance. Tie-in games are always good, right?
Developed by Teyon and published by Reef Entertainment, Terminator Resistance is a single-player, fps set during the Future War you got to see bits of during Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day (we get to officially ignore all the others now). It’s been 30 years since Judgment Day, and low-level Resistance soldier Jacob Rivers has been marked by Skynet as their next termination target. You’re Jacob, so have fun with that.
Teyon previously worked on the imaginatively named, lacklustre Rambo: The Video Game, so maybe things have improved since 2013, but it doesn’t bode particularly well.
Terminator Resistance is set to launch 15 November 2019 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The rather excellent-looking Terminator: Dark Fate will be out three weeks prior on 23 October 2019.
