Because it’s art, or something, definitely something, so don’t let the fact that you don’t play games put you off.
Hideo Kojima recently announced, on Twitter, that Death Stranding won’t just have an Easy mode, but a “Very Easy Mode” for people who are only interested because of the involvement of actors like Mads Mikkelsen and Norman Reedus.
Normally there’s only Easy Mode, but we added Very Easy Mode for movie fans since we have real actors like Norman, Mads, Lea starred in. Even Yano-san who never completed the 1st stage of PAC-MAN, was able to complete the game on Very Easy Mode 👍🌈🦀😅 https://t.co/fMZmuZltZw

How easy will Very Easy Mode be? I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Maybe it’s just cinematic interludes broken up by bouts of rigorous peeing.
There’s no need to subject yourself to Kojima’s questionable storytelling, if you’re not a gamer (even if you are…). Polar is currently available on Netflix, if you want an entertaining Mikkelsen fix, and Reedus will probably be in the Walking Dead for now until eternity, also on Netflix.
Death Stranding is set for release on 8 November 2019 for the PlayStation 4.
