Fortnite got Marshmello, so AdventureQuest gets Korn. Is that how this all works, now?
90s nu metal pioneers that you probably haven’t thought of for a while, Korn, have a new album coming out, called The Nothing, and they’ve decided to pimp it with a digital concert event being held for players of both AdventureQuest 3D and AdventureQuest Worlds, at the new Battle Concert Arena.
New players will receive a free concert ticket in their inventory, but existing players will have to purchase a magic ticket (for 100g) from the Special Event Promoter, in town. They’re wearing Mosh Pit Marauder armour, can’t miss ’em. When the event starts, the magic ticket will instantly transport players to a mosh pit of monster murder for a mini concert.
While Korn “performs”, players will get a chance to kill as many monsters as possible in order to earn limited edition loot. The event will be re-playable for a month and then permanently removed.
AdventureQuest 3D and AdventureQuest Worlds are both free-to-play, browser-based, online RPGs developed by Artix Entertainment. They’re largely aimed at kids, much like Korn.
The Korn event starts 20 August.
