South African actress Lesley-Ann Brandt, who stars in Netflix’s unconventional buddy-cop comedy Lucifer as the demon Mazikeen, has now confirmed what eschatology academics have probably long suspected – Afrikaans is the cursed dialect of the infernal abyss, ek sê.
Talking to her therapist Linda in the first episode of the show’s fourth season, which premiered last week, Mazikeen asks if she can speak Lilim.
