With PUBG Mobile denied a proper launch in the country due to its controversial censorship and game violence policies, developer Tencent has now launched Game for Peace, a government-approved version of PUBG Mobile with less western depravity, and more communist patriotism to promote “healthy, positive cultural and value guidance”.
Like some basic courtesy.
They changed PUBG Mobile in China to comply with stricter game violence laws. Now when you ‘kill’ someone they give you a loot box and wave goodbye and honestly it’s just so hilariously wholesome pic.twitter.com/Q5xkrtM0MA

Much nicer, isn’t it? That’s the kind of guy you take home to meet mom and dad.
Game for Peace, which includes murder but without blood so I guess that’s different or whatever, “pays tribute to the blue sky warriors that guard our country’s airspace”. By shooting each other on the ground. Makes sense, and it’s not like you can ride a tank over other players, so it’s historically accurate too.
