It’s the end of the month, it’s payday, and the debit orders are already hovering in position, tractor beams locked onto your bank account, as they await the signal to commence sucking everything out of it. Making up (kind of) for these otherwise somewhat bleak prospects, however, Microsoft has confirmed its compilation of free games for March so you’ve got a convenient excuse to stay home and cry on the couch when your friends invite you out.
As per regularly scheduled programming, Xbox Live Games with Gold promos are available exclusively for Gold subscribers, and for a limited time, and feature two Xbox One games and two Xbox 360 games that are also backwards compatible on Xbox One.
What’s what:
- Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion (1 – 31 March, on Xbox One)
- Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 (16 March – 15 April, on Xbox One)
- Star Wars Republic Commando (1 – 15 March, on Xbox 360 with backwards compatibility on Xbox One)
- Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (16 – 31 March, on Xbox 360 with backwards compatibility on Xbox One)
