It’s an energy-powered assault rifle, oooooh. Somewhat like the Devotion LMG, Havoc has a spin-up time to its full-auto maximum laser blast-o-rama – but this can be eliminated with the Turbocharger mod. For those of you who like a more calculated engagement protocol, using the Selectfire Receiver mod you can swap to a single-shot mode with hitscan. This means there’s zero time between taking the shot and melting your target’s face, but you’ll have to take the spin-up time before that into account too. Whatever you choose, though, Havoc is probably not recommended for noobs.
Havoc was also one of the guns featured in a series of Apex Legends leaks this week, investing some extra credibility into the other things excavated from the game’s files. Get hype.
