I have a few pet hates. Okay, let’s be honest, I hate a lot of things, but one thing that really gets the bile boiling from my bek is when witty developers (actually it’s probably the publishers who come up with this stuff) throw clever puns into special editions of games. It makes me want to spit. I don’t even know why. But that’s besides the point. The point is that there’s a GOTY version of the impressive Nier: Automata coming out, and it’s got a clever name. Obviously I’m using the word “clever” in its loosest possible configuration.

Nier: Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition, they’re calling it. YoHRa is some organisation in the game. SEE WHAT THEY DID THERE? I’m so glad I’m wearing my strong Spanx or my sides would have split because megalolz.
Still, the idea of a full-fat version of Nier: Automata is not to be sniffed at, so let’s look past this silliness. As is the norm, this GOTY edition should come packing all the DLC goodness that has been tacked onto the already lovely game since its launch. Or not. Things are a bit vague, as it stands. Still, if you’ve been teetering on the edge of giving this game a go, this news should serve as your invitation to wait a little longer until this hilaaaaariously titled special edition hits store shelves.
