The thing is, I don’t, like, get Nintendo. I mean, I’ve tried. I even have a Wii and a DS in the back of a cupboard somewhere, presumably now re-purposed as a spider palace. But Mario and Zelda and… Mario aren’t my jam. Whatever. Zillions of other people love that stuff, so my opinion probably doesn’t even matter.
But Nintendo’s new Switch – previously codenamed NX – looks amazing.
The company dropped a reveal trailer on Twitter today, showing off its hybrid console/portable, um, console that even plays Skyrim. It’s got detachable mini-controllers, but looks like it supports a regular wireless controller too, and can be hooked up to a TV or grabbed on the go. TECHNOLOGY.
