Bethesda has announced that they’re pushing the launch of The Elder Scrolls Online forward to sometime next year so that the MMO can drop on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at the same time. The game was originally expected to come out from under those mudcrabs this year. What mudcrabs? These mudcrabs!

“We are thrilled to bring this game to consoles, in addition to the PC and Mac,” said game director Matt Firor in the press stuff. “It’s something our fans have been requesting since we first announced the title, and something our team is excited to offer. Everyone will be able to play The Elder Scrolls Online the way they want to play.”
To make up for the delay, there’s a new trailer! Okay, it might not totally make up for it, but it’s something.
