One of the newsies over at C&VG posted a comment by Lionhead spokesperson Sam Van Tilburgh, who told us to expect Fable III round about Christmas time this year. In a later update to this post, it was confirmed by Microsoft that, yes, Fable III will be available in time for the holidays. That gives Lionhead a solid year to work on the title… a bit shorter than usual I think. Let’s see if this new title can actually have more than half of the designers’ original ideas in it.
