Just recently, in an article about the increasing prominence of the fairer sex in leading roles in videogames, ugo.com also posted a nice little quiz for gamers to test their knowledge of videogame leading ladies. Most of them should be pretty easy for even the most casual of gamers to name, but there are one or two that you might need a more hardcore buddy to lean over your shoulder and help you out. The last one looks like an attempt at a trick too, but any gamer who knows one horror title from another shouldn’t fall for it.
I’m all for female protagonists in videogames, personally – though my reasons are probably less laudable than most. I like having a hot female in tight armour to look at while I’m running around, but on occasion, their personalities have made me like them a lot more, like Heather Mason, from Silent Hill 3, for instance.
Anyway, I got a perfect score, of course. Check out my initials on the leaderboard for proof: MFV, and give the quiz a shot yourself.
