According to the latest figures from whoever it is who keeps track of these things, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has just claimed the biggest videogame launch of all time title, with over 7 million copies sold worldwide on the first day alone. The majority of these, over 55%, were on the Xbox 360, with round about 33% on the PS3 and the remaining 12% odd on the PC. If this keeps up, the game will have sold 10 million units by the end of today – which smashes the record previously set by Grand Theft Auto IV, which shifted nearly 6 million units in the first week. Impressive, very impressive.
